AAMSA

Mission

The Asian American Medical Student Association (AAMSA) at UNC is an organization that seeks to address issues that are important and relevant to Asian American culture within medicine by exploring issues affecting Asian American medical professionals, health concerns and risks specific to the Asian American community, and Eastern-based medicine. In addition, we aim to generate an appreciation for interests in Asian cultures and foster mutual respect between all groups through open discussions and social and cultural events.
