360 degree feedback has become a favored method of providing feedback to enhance leadership performance. The instrument we will use most frequently is Benchmarks, a copy-write product from the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro.
It requires feedback from 10-15 colleagues (including 1 superior, 1 boss, 4-5 peers, 4-5 direct reports, and 1-2 others as desired) who are willing to fill out a questionnaire on-line. The responses are anonymous, except for the superior and boss, as they are tabulated as a group, (e.g. peer or direct report). The feedback to you is confidential, known only to you and Houpt as the facilitator. None of the information will be shared with anyone else. Your time commitment includes inviting the raters, filling out the questionnaire itself, and 3-4 sessions with Houpt to review the results.
