Students should plan to take the MCAT no later than September prior to the year they are planning for matriculation.
Your MCAT scores are valid for three years. For example, if you took the MCAT exam in 2011 your MCAT scores would be valid through the 2014 application cycle.
We will accept scores from the last MCAT test date that is offered by the AAMC, which is usually in September.
If you have submitted your AMCAS application prior to taking the MCAT please note that your application will not be reviewed until the scores have been reported by AMCAS. Students whose total MCAT scores are below 25 are usually not considered competitive.
