How do you manage to stay balanced and healthy in spite of the busy med school schedule?
I stay balanced and healthy while juggling a busy med school schedule by making sure I incorporate working out into my daily routine like lifting and running, as well as making plans with friends to do non-med school related activities like eating and watching the whole series of walking dead and breaking bad.
Why do you want to become an advocate and what three qualities will you bring to the job?

What’s the most important piece of advice you would give to an MS1 at the beginning of the year?
I would advise an MS1 to find something outside of studying that they enjoy doing (such as running or sleeping) and to continue to make time for it throughout the year because it’s important to not let med school consumer your life.
What is your favorite artery, organ, or nerve; and why?

Tell us your favorite joke (PG-13 max, please).
There were two corn chips… and they were friends. They were friends. They were in school together and playing on the playground. One chip thought the other chip was being unfair. And he told him, “I don’t think you’re being fair”… “I’m your friend why aren’t you being fair.” The other chip was like, “I DON’T THINK YOU KNOW ME.” And the other chip was like, “Come on… why don’t we TACO bout it.” And the other chip was like, “No I’m NACHO friend…. No. I’m Nachooo friend.”
