NICHE

Nurses Improving Care for Health System Elders (NICHE)

Started in 1992, NICHE has evolved into a national geriatric nursing program comprising 143 active sites in 34 states as well as parts of Canada and The Netherlands.  NICHE sites in North Carolina include UNC Hospitals; Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem; Mission Hospitals, Asheville; Moses Cone Health System, Greensboro; and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
