Dr. Christina Shenvi
Geriatrics Fellow, 2013-2014
I am a fellow in Geriatric Emergency Medicine. After graduating from Princeton University with a major in Chemistry, I first pursued a PhD in Chemistry at UC-Berkeley, then attended medical school at Yale. I completed residency in Emergency Medicine at UNC, and stayed on as a geriatric fellow at UNC, one of only four programs in the country offering geriatric EM fellowships.
My primary interests are in resident and medical student education. Currently I write a monthly geriatric EM blog column for www.AcademicLifeinEM.com. I am also interested in alcohol and substance abuse prevention, and the role of the Emergency Department in helping intervene for these problems.
