The Geriatric Specialty Clinic (GSC) is an interdisciplinary specialty clinic at the University of North Carolina Hospitals.  The GSC assists older people who have complex medical, social, and functional problems. Patients are seen by an experienced interdisciplinary team consisting of a geriatrician, a nurse practitioner, a social worker, a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, and a pharmacist.

The GSC clinicians see patients on Mondays at Carolina Pointe II (6013 Farrington Road, Bldg 200 Ste 301, Chapel Hill). Appointments may be made by calling (919) 957-6599. Your doctor may refer you or you may call the clinic for an appointment without a referral.

The director of the clinic is Holly Jean Coward, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
