Director's Message

We have just released the 2011 Progress Report for the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program. The report summarizes some of the accomplishments of AHEC over the past year in addressing the health workforce needs of the state. I am particularly pleased that we are also highlighting some of the faculty and staff who work in the AHECs across North Carolina, since they are the reason for the successes we continue to achieve in serving the needs of the communities of North Carolina....(more)

First Year of Youth Health Service Corps at Eastern AHEC

Family Medicine Center at Southern Regional AHEC Recognized
The Family Medicine Center at Southern Regional AHEC has achieved recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient-Centered Medical Home.
