From September 19 to 21, 2012, Wake AHEC will host the North Carolina AHEC Statewide Conference at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. Over the past four decades, the program has had a major impact on improving the availability of health care for the communities of the state. Valuable relationships with partners have enhanced the strengths and accomplishments of the organization. This conference will look back over the last forty years, celebrating accomplishments, recalling challenges that led to growth and reuniting contributors to the program. The focus will be on the future of NC AHEC in the 21st century health care system and plans for further service to North Carolina.
