Website Posting Policy


Evolving technology is continuously changing the way we communicate within our organization and with the external community. The Council for Allied Health in North Carolina (Council) website is intended to provide a broad range of allied health information for its members, and citizens about emerging trends in the allied health workforce, programs, events and activities. The sole purpose of the website, external links and informational postings is to offer quick, accurate and convenient access to make individuals aware of trends in the demand, supply and distribution of allied health workforce in the state in cooperation with other stakeholders.

Every effort is made to insure that information provided is timely and correct, however, users should keep in mind that this information is provided only as a public convenience. The Council updates the website regularly and every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided on the site. However, the Council assumes no liability for any inaccuracies that the website may contain.

As a general rule, links and listing information requests are only provided for non-profit organizations.

Web site operators who wish to have a link from the Council’s website to their Web site or have informational listings posted on the Council’s website must read and comply with this policy and provide contact information. All requests for links and informational postings will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis provided that the Council’s server has the capacity to entertain these requests.
Required information includes:

  1. Name of the organization
  2. Physical address (i.e., a postal address) of the organization.
  3. Non-profit status or § 501(c)(3) certification from the United States Internal Revenue Service and or council memberships.
  4. Name of person responsible for the web site and information to be posted on the Council’s website.
  5. E-mail address of the person responsible for the website and the information to be posted on the Council’s website.
  6. Telephone number of the person responsible for the website and information to be posted on the Council’s website.
  7. Internet address (URL) of the Web site.

In no event shall any linking request or listing request be with or on behalf of any commercial, business, trade, manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing, or other profit-making enterprise, nor shall any linking or listing request be entered into with any political, partisan, sectarian, denominational or religious corporation or association, or for any political, partisan, sectarian, denominational or religious purpose.
