About Blackboard:

Blackboard is the course management system used by most distance education programs.  This tutorial walks students new to Blackboard through the system and shows how the system can be used.

Please take some time to go through this orientation.  Familiarizing yourself with Blackboard will help guarantee your success in distance education at UNC.


ONLINE LIBRARY TUTORIAL

 

This tutorial is a series of web-based, self-paced modules designed to help you learn how to find, evaluate and manage information in an increasingly complex information environment.  the tutorial introduces you to some important search concepts and guides you in the use of the UNC-Chapel hill library system from a distance.


UNC ONLINE SKILLS TEST

 

This skills test allows you to compare your computer system, software, and plugins against the recommended requirements for online learning at UNC.  Also includes a section on using the Blackboard course management system.
