With the new academic year, the DAHS Research Forum are about to restart as well. The theme for the 2016-2017 year is Expanding Opportunities & Fostering Interdisciplinary Research in Allied Health Sciences.

The September Research Forum will be Wed. Sept. 28 at 11:30 in MacNider 321, with the topic of SHOWCASING AHS RESEARCH MODEL WITH EXAMPLES.

  • Grace Baranek will give an introduction to the DAHS research model

  • Mike Lewek will talk about whole body mechanics and energetics during walking post-Stroke; and

  • Clare Harrop will discuss attention in girls with autism spectrum disorder: using eye tracking to measure circumscribed interests and social motivation.

As always, lunch will be provided. Looking forward to seeing you on the 28th!
