PhD MISSION

The mission of the Curriculum in Human Movement Science is to enhance the physical well-being and quality of life of people by creating and disseminating knowledge about the causes and consequences of human movement disorders including behavioral, physiologic and mechanical factors.  Pursuits of this mission include:

  • doctoral degree program;
  • research programs supported by external funding;
  • publication and presentation of scientific research; and
  • participation in University committees and representative governing bodies.
