Congratulations to our students who graduated from the Divisions of Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, Radiologic Science, Speech and Hearing Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science and the Neurodiagnostics and Sleep Science program in the Department of Allied Health Sciences.
The UNC School of Medicine’s Department of Allied Health Sciences graduated hundreds of students at division graduations the weekend of May 7.

Clinical Laboratory Science: Clinical Laboratory Science held a graduation and reception at Wilson Library on Sunday, May 8, to celebrate graduates’ accomplishments.

Radiologic Science: Radiologic Science graduated several students and welcomed former UNC Men’s Basketball star Eric Montross as their graduation speaker.

Speech and Hearing Sciences: Twenty six students graduated with a master of science in speech-language pathology; 8 students received a doctor of audiology degree. Several graduation speakers, including Dr. Jane Fernandes, spoke at the event. Clinical preceptor awards went to Dr. Erin Piker and Kevin Cunningham.

Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling: Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling awarded 19 diplomas. Speakers included Judy Schmidt, Dr. Stephen Hooper, Dr. Eileen Burker, among others.
