Clinical Education
Clinical education is an integral part of the overall process of becoming an occupational therapist and results from a strong collaborative relationship Level I fieldwork consists of short-term opportunities to gain exposure to varied practice settings at times that are embedded within the academic curriculum. Level II fieldwork occurs as full-time 12-week internships during the summer sessions following both the first and second year of academic coursework. The academic fieldwork coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of planning, scheduling, and monitoring fieldwork experiences.
