The UNC-CH Division of Occupational Science is interested in recruiting individuals who represent the diverse population that occupational therapy serves. If you identify yourself as a minority and/or can bring diversity to our program, we welcome your application. Generally we look for applicants with a blend of academic ability, experience working with people, service orientation and a belief in the future of occupational therapy. As with any health care field, multi-cultural experience is a prerequisite to being an effective practitioner. The admissions committee reviews all completed applications and makes an effort to ensure class diversity whenever possible.
