Student Occupational Therapy Association

The Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) is a non-profit student organization recognized by UNC that serves to promote professional development through educational in-services, leadership opportunities, networking with therapists in the area, volunteering, social activities, fundraising, and supporting the needs and interests of the students. SOTA creates a professional culture that is member driven and facilitates communication between first year and second year students, allowing all members to have the opportunity to contribute to semester objectives. Each year SOTA sends an ASD Delegate representative to the annual AOTA conference in order to stay active on national issues.
