Welcome to Bondurant Hall!

We invite our alumni and friends to visit the Division of Occupational Science's facilities in Bondurant Hall! The recently expanded and renovated 106,000-square-foot building serves as the home for the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine—including the Dean's office, Alumni Affairs Office, Office of Student Affairs, and Office of Medical Education and the Department of Allied Health Sciences and its seven divisions.

Bondurant Hall is the new main entry point to welcome current and prospective students, visitors, and alumni, connecting them to UNC-Chapel Hill's health education campus. Future generations of Occupational Therapists, as well as other allied health and medical practitioners will attend classes and/or receive continuing education in Bondurant Hall's 19 classrooms and 29 teaching and research labs.

At the heart of the Division of Occupational Science's teaching mission is a beautiful new 1,290-square-foot apartment and laboratory. The apartment's layout, furnishings, and décor were designed by the faculty with universal design and occupational science concepts in mind. The apartment serves as the primary teaching space for the Division, as well as a gathering place for students.

In addition, occupational therapy students enjoy expanded assistive technology laboratory space as well as shared space dedicated to splinting and device fabrication. Lecture classes are held in one of Bondurant Hall's state-of-the-art classrooms with small group rooms available for in-class break-out sessions. Faculty offices occupy one suite in the building, allowing close collaboration among faculty and ample room for student advising.
