Preparing Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists for Working with Young Children with Autism and Their Families

Interdisciplinary training grant to support master's level students with an emphasis in working with young children with autism and their families. Over a four year period, the grant will prepare 22 students across Occupational Science and Speech-Language Pathology for careers in early intervention focusing on young children with autism. Students will participate in interdisciplinary and specialized coursework, practicum placements, research and service learning opportunities, and professional development activities.
