Prospective Students

Welcome to the UNC-CH Division of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy. Thank you for your interest in our programs!

We encourage you to review thoroughly the materials provided on the website under the programs tab on the homepage, or through the links below, prior to contacting the division with questions. We post a significant amount of information about programs and admissions, including relevant documents, on our web pages. In addition, prospective master's degree students may find it helpful to attend a group information session, which are scheduled on specific Friday afternoons from 3-5 p.m. several times during the fall and spring semesters (no information sessions are scheduled during the summer).

NOTE: The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy welcomes your interest in our programs. However, due to time constraints, we generally are not able to schedule individual meetings with prospective applicants, but rather encourage attendance at one of the group information sessions held two to three times in the fall and spring semesters (see more information in the block to the right on this page). You also may make a request to sit in on a class by reviewing the current class schedule and then submitting a Class Visit request form to the email address listed below.

ALSO: It is not necessary that prospective applicants undergo a transcript review prior to applying. If you have questions regarding your prior coursework meeting prerequisite requirements, please submit a Prerequisite Check request to the email address listed below.

Once you have reviewed the information available on this website, if you have further questions, please email OSinfo@med.unc.edu
