Eye Tracking Study of Children's Visual Attention, examines children's ability to look at and shift attention while watching pictures and videos on the computer and explores the relationship between their attention and sensory responses, ages 2-12 years.
This study will enroll 20 children with Autism, 20 children with developmental disabilities and 20 children who are typically developing. Marua is a Doctoral student in Developmental Psychology who is working with Dr. Grace Baranek and Dr. Steve Reznick on this study.
This study consists of a 70 minute session, with only about 45 minutes of it being the actual eye gaze task. Each family will have an opportunity to view the lab and the test before the session. There is a playroom with toys for any brothers and sisters.
