About the Center for Human Movement Science
The Center for Human Movement Science occupies 1,000 square feet of space and is comprised of the following units:
(1) Subject Preparation Room: used for physical examinations and preparation for in vivo experiments
(2) Isometric and Isokinetic Strength Testing Laboratory: used for detailed joint strength evaluations
(3) Motion Analysis Laboratory: used for complete in vivo kinematic and kinetic analysis of functional and athletic activities
(4) Motor Control Laboratory: used for complicated analysis of human sensory processing and motor control strategies
(5) Behavior Observation Laboratory: used for sophisticated analysis of behaviors of children, adults, and the elderly in keeping with the life-span approach to human movement science
(7) Computation Laboratory: equipped with high-tech computers and customized software for data reduction, data analysis and computer simulations of general human movements.
Location: Bondurant Hall Lower Level (Room 086)
