Title: Biomechanical analysis of the throwing technique of elite male and female USATF

discus and javelin throwers

Purpose: To analyse technical characteristics of elite US discus and javelin throwers and identify critical factors in their technique related to improving performance. To provide written technical reports for athletes & their coaches to assist with understanding of discus and javelin throwing techniques; & for improving training & competitive performance.
