UNC PT 54th Annual Commencement
The Transitional DPT program allows licensed physical therapists with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in PT to earn their DPT by completing courses through distance education. The 2011 graduates were members of the second class to complete the program.
The ceremony included the presentation of several honors and awards. Graduates Monica Murrell and Carissa Reed received the Margaret L. Moore Student Recognition Award. Gwen Hall (DPT ’06) received the Mabel Parker Award. UNC PT Assistant Professor Jonathon D. Hacke, PT, MA, OCS, received the Faculty Award, presented by DPT graduate Kyle Cooper. UNC Associate Professor Lisa Johnston presented Emilee Billeaud with the Judy Capps Beswick Award for Excellence in Clinical Performance.
