A Regional Meeting for Adapted Physical Education

Presenters: Barbara Meleney, APE Specialist Durham Public Schools & Laurie Ray, APE Liaison for NC Dept. of Public Instruction
Who should attend: Physical educators, Special Education teachers, teacher assistants, paraprofessionals, administrators, compliance staff, related service providers, EC directors, and any other interested parties.
There is no cost for this workshop. Certificates will be provided to all registered participants, you will need to confirm CEUs through your LEA.
During this session we will discuss the following topics:
- IEP development
- Progress monitoring
- Hands on adaptation activities/Demonstration
- Ideas to engage all students in PE
- LOTS of questions and answers
