Dear alumni and friends,
Our program has benefited from supporters like L'Vir Sande of Salisbury, NC who established the Rebecca Irene Sande Scholarship Fund in Physical Therapy at UNC-Chapel Hill through a bequest from his estate in 2002. Today, the Sande Scholarship Fund generates investment income that allows the Division to offer 10 scholarships annually to deserving students. The Sande’s thoughtful and generous bequest has made a significant difference in the ability of the Division to recruit to the nation’s best and brightest physical therapy students.
Planned gifts provide the resources that create extraordinary opportunities for our faculty and students who will become future physical therapist and can help to shape the future of the UNC-Chapel Hill Division of Physical Therapy. A planned gift may enable you to make a more significant gift than you thought possible while at the same time allowing you to achieve your financial, philanthropic and estate planning goals.
To that end, we created new web resources offering a myriad of easy giving options from naming UNC Chapel Hill Division of Physical Therapy as a beneficiary in your will to funding a charitable gift annuity that will provide you and loved ones income for life while making a significant gift to our program. The directory at left provides more information about the estate and life income planned giving vehicles that are available to make a gift to our program.
When you name the UNC-Chapel Hill Division of Physical Therapy in your estate plans, we know that you include us in a special group of family, friends, and organizations that you hold dear, and we are very grateful. Please contact our development director Kyle Gray (919-966-3352 or firstname.lastname@example.org) or me (919-843-8660 or email@example.com) if you have any questions.
