compensation for
their time. |
Part II
Project ACT NOW
Part II is a
12-week aquatic resistive exercise program for adults with CP who
are eligible to participate. Eligibility for participation
in this portion of the study will be determined at the time of
participation in Part I. In Part II, we are investigating
the effectiveness of an aquatic exercise intervention. The
intention of this program is to decrease secondary conditions and
increase strength, mobility and quality of life. Part II
requires participation in
three exercise sessions a week for 12 weeks. The exercise
sessions will be conducted at a local warm water
pool. You will be tested two
additional times over the course of Part II and will be compensated $50
for each testing session. |
