Jennifer Cooke, PT, DPT has been a physical therapist for over 11 years practicing primarily in orthopedics. She earned her BA in Exercise Science, Master of Physical Therapy and Doctorate of Physical Therapy all from UNC. Clinical interests and expertise include shoulder, knee, and lower extremity conditions. Jennifer also has advanced training in prenatal and postpartum physical therapy, orthotics fabrication, functional movement and corrective exercise, and advanced manual therapy techniques. This training has allowed Jennifer to blend manual therapy and exercise prescription for positive patient outcomes.
In addition to clinical practice, Jennifer is a faculty member with the Division of Physical Therapy at UNC teaching both doctoral students and residents. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys cooking, traveling, outdoor and fitness activities, and Tar Heel sports.
