The Department of Allied Health Sciences at UNC – Chapel Hill has always attracted outstanding students; and the alumni from our degree and certificate programs are highly sought for their excellent academic and clinical preparation, and their leadership skills. Our faculty are engaged in exciting research related to all aspects of allied health practice, including stroke rehabilitation, literacy access for children with severe disabilities, sensory development in children with autism, optimizing living environments for the elderly, treatment of musculo-skeletal disorders, and much more!
