Upcoming Event 

The Department of Anesthesiology will be hosting the first AIG airway workshop on Thursday, October 28th from 6:00 - 7:30. Residents from UNC Anesthesiology will walk us through basic airway management and mask ventilation.  There will also be 6 stations where you can get hands-on-experience intubating mannequins and using other difficult airway devices.  Learning how to intubate will be a valuable skill on the wards regardless of whether you want to go into anesthesia or not.

Examples of stations include:

1- Mask Ventilation

2- Direct Laryngoscopy

3- Bougie

4- LMA

5- Trachlite

Must be signed up to attend.
