Each time slot is 5 hours long (from 7am-12pm) and you will not be expected to do anything but shadow. Proper attire for the OR consists of scrubs, which will be obtained by the resident with whom you meet first thing in the morning. You will be expected to meet your resident at the front desk of the OR (on the second floor of the main hospital) promptly at 7am to begin your day.  If you don't know how to get there go to the Information Desk on the main floor of the hospital and ask for help.  Please plan your time accordingly.  It is easy to get lost in the hospital!

Shadowing for the fall semester will begin soon.  If you did not receive the listserve email to sign up for shadowing then please email Barden Berry.  Please note that shadowing spots fill up quickly and are given out on a first come, first serve basis.
