2017 UNC Neuroscience Symposium Oct. 5

The 18th annual UNC Andrew S. Rachlin Neuroscience Symposium will be held on October 5, 2017, at the Carolina Club.

This year’s Symposium will focus on Alzheimer’s Disease and Neurodegeneration. The keynote speakers will be Karen Duff, PhD (Professor of Pathology & Cell Biology at Columbia University in St. Louis) and David Holtzman, MD (Andrew B. And Gretchen P. Jones Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine). There will also be brief presentations highlighting the work in this area of UNC scientists: Juan Song, Todd Cohen, Mohanish Deshmukh, Guorong Wu, and Aravind Asokan.

The event is free and open to the public but registration is requested.
