Bowles Lectureship Award

The Bowles Lectureship Award has been established by the Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies, School of Medicine, University of North Carolina to honor the distinguished researchers who have made significant contributions to our understanding of the causes, prevention and/or treatment of alcoholism and alcohol abuse. Each year, an awardee will be invited to visit the Center, present a lecture and meet with our investigators to share knowledge and new ideas. A plaque listing the names of all awardees hangs in the Center’s lobby.
