CAS Predoctoral Student Receives Mentoring Award

Reggie Cannady, a Center for Alcohol Studies predoctoral student, recently received a Graduate Student Mentor Support Award, along with a $1,000 prize.  These graduate awards are designed to encourage graduate mentoring of undergraduate research projects. 

Cannady received the honor for mentoring rising junior Brandon Durant, a psychology major in the Science and Math Achievement and Resourcefulness Track program (SMART) at UNC. 

Canndy is working towards his PhD in neurobiology in the CAS neurobehavioral pharmacology lab.
