Spring 2017 Seminar Series Underway

The Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies is proud to present its Spring 2017 Seminar Series, held two Mondays a month, from 12:30-1:30 p.m., between January and April. In April, we will have two non-Monday seminars: On Thursday, April 6, Rajesh C. Miranda, Ph.D., of Tufts University, will speak at 4 p.m. On Wednesday, April 19, the seminar is jointly sponsored by UNC's Biomedical Research Imaging Center. The speaker is Alan Jasanoff, Ph.D., of MIT. All seminars take place in Koury Dental School, Room G411.

The series features experts from UNC-Chapel Hill and others addressing the latest topics in alcohol research: Jan. 23, Feb. 6, Feb. 27, March 13, March 27, April 6 (THURSDAY), April 6 (THURSDAY, at 4 p.m.), April 10, April 19 (WEDNESDAY, jointly sponsored by BCAS and UNC's Biomedical Research Imaging Center). All seminars will be held in dental school's auditorium, Koury Dental School Room G411.
