Endowment Grants
The Medical Alumni Association established the Medical Alumni Endowment Fund in recognition of the desire of the alumni of the School of Medicine to support academic enrichment programs for the students, faculty and alumni of the institution. The aim of the Endowment Fund Grants is to fund proposals from new investigators or established investigators exploring new areas of discovery from UNC faculty or housestaff that will promote excellence in education, research or service and has a high likelihood of being sustained in the future. Applications for visiting professors, CME programs, equipment for existing projects, travel or ongoing operational funds of existing programs or projects are not encouraged.
2010 - 2011 Award Period
Announcements will be made later in 2009 regarding available funding for the 2010-2011 award period. Please check back for more information as it becomes available.
Eligibility: current full-time faculty of the School of Medicine and current residents/fellows of UNC Hospitals. This included full-time UNC faculty at AHEC sites.
