Our Fall Alumni Weekends celebrate the contribution of our Loyalty Fund Associates and other donors to the UNC School of Medicine. We also recognize our Medical Alumni Loyalty Fund Scholars and their promising futures.

The registration form for this year's Fall Alumni Weekend is hosted by the General Alumni Association.

We invite you to return to Chapel Hill for Fall Medical Alumni Weekend, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17-18 and celebrate another great year for the  UNC School of Medicine.  Reconnect with your fellow alumni for a weekend of activities!

Join us Friday afternoon for the joint Medical Alumni Council and National Loyalty Fund Committee meeting, followed by our reception and dinner where we celebrate our Loyalty Fund Scholarship Program and recognize our Loyalty Fund Associates.  Then on Saturday, join us for a classic Carolina football game (UNC vs. Georgia Tech) and the complete Tar Heel Town game day experience.

Join us for a meeting of the Medical Alumni Council and National Loyalty Fund Committee for an exclusive look inside UNC School of Medicine. Presenters will include:

  • Dean Bill Roper on Opportunities and Challenges: the Path to Continued Success
  • Dr. Bruce Cairns, Professor of Surgery, Director of the NC Jaycee Burn Center and newly Elected UNC Faculty Chair.
  • From the front lines as an alum, faculty member, and parent, Paula Miller, MD ‘83, Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation, Director of Women’s Heart Program and Class of 2015 parent
  • Ann Braun, new President, Medical Foundation of NC, Inc.
  • Mary Netter Robinson will present on her legendary father Dr. Frank Netter and his impact on medical education.
  • Student leaders and scholars will share experiences and stories about their 21st century medical education.

UNC Football vs. Georgia Tech
Kenan Stadium

Put on your best Carolina Blue game day attire and cheer Coach Larry Fedora and the Tar Heels to victory as they take on the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech. Medical Alumni block tickets are $25/person based on availability.

Come early and enjoy the Game Day experience – Tar Heel Town and climb the Bell Tower to enjoy stunning views from this campus landmark. Tar Heel Town and The Bell Tower Climb open 3 hours prior to kickoff and close 45 minutes before the start of the game.
