Mission Statement:

The mission of the Anesthesia Interest Group is to enable those medical students who are interested in anesthesiology the ability to access information and experiences about the profession and its associated environment. The University of North Carolina has an excellent anesthesiology department, and it is our goal provide students with resources that will aid them in their decision to pursue careers in anesthesiology. In addition, the group seeks to expand the knowledge of its members in areas of clinical skills and research.
