Applicants who apply to the UNC Obstetric Anesthesiology Fellowship must have an MD degree or equivalent and successfully completed an accredited anesthesiology residency training program prior to the beginning of the fellowship year. Obstetric Anesthesiology Fellowship:

Duration of fellowship: 12 months
Applications are accepted each spring for the academic year beginning the following July
- A copy of your Dean’s letter
- A copy of your medical school transcript
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Personal statement
- 3 letters of reference (one must be from your anesthesiology residency training program director)
- ITE scores

Selected candidates will have an in-person interview with the Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology as well as members of the obstetric anesthesia faculty.
