Neuroanesthesia Division

This division is headed by Dr. Claude McFarlane. This group provides anesthesiology services for a wide variety of procedures, from CSF shunts to complex aneurysm clippings, nerve stimulator implantation to extensive spinal fusions. Residents also gain significant experience in central line placement and fiberoptic intubation techniques, as well as additional experience with transesophageal echocardiography.
