The HELP PAIN Trial

The HELP PAIN Trial is a multi-site, randomized, interventional study based in the emergency department. Qualifying patients who are involved in a motor vehicle collision and present to participating emergency department sites (located in no-fault insurance states) are randomized to propranolol vs. placebo, and patient recovery is assessed over time. This study is supported by the Mayday Fund.  Dr. McLean is PI of this study.
