The Academy of Educators committee on Teaching Awards recommends that the
Academy of Educators bestow several teaching awards on an annual basis at their annual
banquet. These awards, and other teaching awards for medical school faculty, should
also be widely advertised among school of medicine faculty through emails, as well as
various publications that go to all school of medicine faculty.
The Academy of Educators has funds available for several small-scale innovative teaching projects. We are interested in a broad variety of innovative teaching techniques/tools that can be applied to enhance the instruction and education of our medical students. The Academy anticipates funding between 3 and 6 project grants with budgets ranging from $2500.00 to $5000.00 each.
