UNC has an amazing set of core research facilities on campus that providing state-of-the-art technology to all students and faculty at UNC. Core facilities provide hands on training for equipment, host workshops on software and data analysis and provide services and reagents for very reasonable rates. Some services are offered at no cost to UNC faculty and staff.

Centers
UNC-CH is dedicated to making significant advances in basic research, as well as translating these discoveries to improving healthcare, education and society. To help organize these efforts, researchers with common interests are concentrated in a variety of Centers that support core facilities, training programs and outreach efforts.
