General Information

Registration Fee

  • The registration fee is currently $25 (for department affiliated faculty, trainee, and staff) to attend all events at this retreat. Payment for the registration of current department affiliated faculty, trainees, and staff will be made from the faculty mentors grant or discretionary funds. Adjustments to registration fee will be announced prior to the start of the event as more sponsorship is garnered.

  • The registration fee for alum to attend is $75.

  • The registration fee for non-affiliated attendees is $125.

Arrival
Please plan to arrive in time for the first session of talks beginning at 3:00 p.m.
We will keep 4:30-5:30 p.m. open to allow everyone a chance to check-in to their rooms. Luggage can be stored either at the front desk or in the conference room. If you call in advance, it is possible that your room will be available prior to 3:00 p.m. if you wanted to check-in before the first session.
Poster set-up can begin upon arrival.
Transportation
Transportation to and from Myrtle Beach should be arranged by labs
For Speakers
Please bring your presentation on USB drive or CD
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your session.
Mac and PC laptops are available.
For Poster Presenters
Posters are 40 inches by 60 inches.
Poster numbers will be assigned after you submit your abstract.
Poster presenters with an odd number will present Friday night.
Poster presenters with an even number will present Saturday night.
Other Information
All meals will be provided. There will be vegetarian options at all meals.
