Dr. Thomas is an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Washington.  Her research interests include:

  •  molecular biomechanics and biophysics of biological adhesion
  • platelet adhesion and thrombosis
  • bacterial adhesion and biofilms
  • computational nano- and micro-mechanics simulations
  • designing novel adhesives for nanotechnology and biomaterials
