Jon successfully defended his dissertation and received his PhD on July 1, 2014.
Jon Leano, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Slep, successfully defended his dissertation and received his PhD on July 1, 2014. The title of his dissertation was “The Clasp Family Regulates Microtubule Dynamics by Using an Array of Tog-Like Domains”
Jon had several family members who attended: Jerry (Father), Josephine (Mother), Eliza (Sister), Jackie (Sister), Andrew( Brother-in law), Isaac (nephew). As well as Joanna (fiancee) was there with her uncle (Dan) and aunt (Seine).
Jon will be pursuing a postdoctoral position in structural biology and while he is on the job search, he will be getting married this July 4th weekend! Congratulations Jon on your new adventures!
