RESEARCH INTERESTS:

My current research ranges from study of environmental determinants of early pregnancy loss, to tailored smoking cessation intervention for operative patients, and to analyses of the clinical utility of fetal fibronectin testing and the appropriate interval for Pap testing in older women. In each case the common element is the opportunity to conduct research that draws together teams of investigators to integrate state-of-the-art tools (e.g. novel laboratory methods, health behavior theory, economic models, and statistical techniques) to address important topics in women's health. I've prepared for, sought out, and am dedicated to continuing a career at the interface of multiple disciplines with peers who similarly desire the chance to push methodologic boundaries through cross-disciplinary collaboration.
