Brain
Automated tissue segmentation, labeling, spatial normalization, atlas building, cortical thickness analysis, and longitudinal development and aging study; DTI fiber tracking, atlas building, and tensor-based disease diagnosis; Identification of subtle brain structural differences in early stage brain diseases (i.e., MCI).
- Neonatal image segmentation, registration, atlas building, and development analysis.
Pediatric Atlases for Neonates and One-year-old
Atlases were generated using a dataset collected in longitudinal studies, involving 68 neonatal subjects.- DTI reconstruction, smoothing, registration, and analysis.
- A novel attribute vector-based non-rigid registration algorithm developed for human and mouse brains; its software package has been downloaded by about 1000 users from the world.
- Developed for consistent longitudinal brain image registration, and later extended for simultaneous segmentation and registration of longitudinal brain images, and cardiac motion estimation.
