Please apply online at the links below.This certificate program, based at the University of North Carolina in the School of Medicine, is a continuing education program, and continuing education units will be offered for those who successfully complete the program. Faculty will include those from the University of North Carolina as well as visiting instructors and adjunct faculty. This program was designed to target EMS and medical disaster professionals who have already completed either curriculum or continuing education academic programs. The focus and intent is to address more of the complex processes associated with administrative, executive, and operational leaders within the profession of Emergency Services. The program will draw from those who currently work in Emergency Services providing emergency medical services and medical disaster management, and from others in Public Safety Organizations who may provide EMS or medical disaster services, such as fire departments, hospitals, and other related agencies. Program & Session InformationFind schedules, locations and session agenda/topics: Enrollment PrerequisitesThis program is designed for current operations managers or those in administrative or executive leadership positions. Please note: this is not an entry level program. All applicants should be able to demonstrate sufficient operational experience and either a continuing education or curriculum academic background, for example, the EMS Management Institute at UNC Charlotte or a similar program. We must demonstrate sufficient interest to conduct this program.

Once your application is received, you will be notified if you are approved, and what discounts you qualify to receive. Please note in the comments section what discount(s), if any, you believe you are entitled to receive. Receipt date of your application will be the date we use for determining discounts and deadlines. At that point, your price will be locked in for 30 days.
