The study, led by Dr. Brad Harris, involved efforts of Six Sigma project teams and the Improving Pediatric Critical Care program. CCE co-director, Dr. Tina Schade Willis, is a co-author on the publication which appears in the September 2011 issue of Health Affairs.

IPCC final report distributed

The Improving Pediatric Critical Care program, sponsored by UNC Dance Marathon for two years, decreased rates of hospital-acquired infections, improved communication systems in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and partnered with families to make improvements based on their feedback.
